“Reykjavík” es el primer adelanto del que será el álbum de debut de Martes Niebla, que verá la luz en 2021 de la mano del sello barcelonés El Genio Equivocado. Este primer sencillo es además reinterpretado por Uniforms (autoras de “Fantasía Moral”, uno de los discos más destacados de 2020 dentro de la escena dream pop y shoegazer), que firman la estupenda remezcla que lo acompaña.

Martes Niebla debutaron con un EP homónimo en 2018 que les llevó a lograr el premio a Artista Emergente de 2019 en el referéndum del programa Disco Grande (Radio 3). Sus miembros proceden de otras bandas de amplia trayectoria dentro del panorama musical español como Blacanova, Terry vs. Tori, Escuelas Pías o Beladrone. Su formación incluye a Erica Pender, Davis Rodríguez, Cristian Bohórquez, Inés Olalla y Paco Arenas. En sus canciones, el dream pop confluye con el shoegaze y el post punk y las capas de guitarras y reverb crean texturas de bruma sonora que dejan escapar momentos de gran luminosidad.

Las canciones de su EP homónimo de debut lograron atención por parte de la crítica especializada, tanto en importantes medios musicales nacionales como en blogs especializados y programas de radio internacionales (KEXP y DKFM Shoegaze Radio (USA), The Reverb o Loose Canon (UK), entre otros).

Como el resto del futuro LP, este primer single ha sido grabado con el productor Raúl Pérez en su estudio La Mina (Sevilla) y masterizado por Cem Oral en Jammin Masters (Berlín). La portada del single es obra de Davis Rodríguez.
