Cinco años después de ‘Echoes’, Ghost Transmission vuelven con ‘Get Me High’, un álbum que huye de la inmediatez en los procesos creativos y homenajea a los sonidos de los 50s-60s. Ghost Transmission regresa con formación renovada. Miriam y Tatxo presentan ‘Get me High’, su tercer disco de estudio que es puro noise rock sin artificios.
A través de las pistas de 'Get Me High', se siente esa añoranza por los años en los que un single era escuchado únicamente en emisoras de radio y en programas musicales. Recuperando el proceso artesanal desde su misma concepción, Ghost Transmission apuesta por una experiencia completa de escucha, con ecos a los orígenes del género de los 50s y 60s.
Su nuevo disco está trabajado y compuesto a la vieja usanza y las canciones surgían durante la grabación de manera que una llevaba a otra y así sucesivamente hasta que se convirtieron en un todo, en un conjunto que funciona si lo escuchas al completo. Es un disco arriesgado, teniendo en cuenta la deriva de los cánones estéticos y las tendencias actuales, e invita a cerrar los ojos y viajar desde la primavera y el verano que ofrecen las cálidas ‘Get Me High’, ‘Heartbeat’ o ‘Sixteen’, para seguir con una transición al otoño corrosivo de ‘I Move The Stars For No One’, ‘Rain ‘And Clouds’ o ‘As You Will’. Concluye el disco con ese invierno que añora los días cálidos del verano con ‘Tropic Isle’ o ‘Your Charms Burn Out Tonight’, para dejarse arropar bajo la manta de ‘Stand Still’.
